Summary
An industry survey of 344 automotive repair professionals reveals a disconnect: nearly half of independent shops already offer some ADAS services, yet the vast majority lack the knowledge, processes, and confidence to do it consistently—and profitably.
While 51% of respondents feel they can explain ADAS to customers, only 30% of front-counter staff feel comfortable doing so. More than 60% of shops have no processes to identify vehicles requiring ADAS calibration during intake. And 47% have pursued no formal ADAS training at all.
ADAS services present an undeniable opportunity for repair shop owners. In this webinar, Scott Brown, owner of Connie & Dicks; Tom Schearer, owner of Schearer’s Sales & Service; and Andy Tirado, founder of Andy Tirado LLC and ADAS Network, will discuss the findings of our recent ADAS Capabilities Survey. They’ll dig into the data and dive into what shop owners can do to integrate ADAS into their workflow, find training, and how to calculate the ROI of adding this service.
We’ll walk through the survey data and explore:
- Where shops are investing in ADAS services—and where they're missing the mark
- Why liability and procedure confusion remain the top barriers
- What shops need to offer ADAS work as a revenue stream
- Understanding how to factor in equipment cost and training into your ROI
We invite you to attend this data-driven look at ADAS and learn how your shop can benefit from implementing this service or creating the systems to offer it at a high level.
