P.S.I. and Meritor host Fleet Technology event in new P.S.I headquarters

Representatives from fleets, dealers and trailer OEM’s in attendance were given a tour of the new P.S.I. facility and learned firsthand about the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by P.S.I. and P.S.I.’s production capabilities.

Pressure Systems International (P.S.I.), a leader in automatic tire inflation systems for commercial vehicles, along with their North American marketing partner and one of the world’s largest independent manufacturers of commercial trailer products, Meritor, hosted the companies’ annual Fleet Technology event from Sept. 13 to 14 in San Antonio.  This is the first P.S.I./Meritor customer event held at P.S.I.’s new and expanded headquarters in San Antonio. 
 
The annual event opened with remarks from Tim Musgrave, CEO of P.S.I., Dave Pritchard, vice president and general manager of Trailer Product, Meritor, Governor Bill Graves, former ATA president and current advisor to the President and CEO, Rick Mihelic, program manager at North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE) and Dwayne Haug, of Dwayne O. Haug Consulting. Presentations throughout the two-day affair focused on the recently published GHG Phase II legislation, fuel and freight efficiencies as well as fleet tire program management.
 
On Wednesday, representatives from fleets, dealers and trailer OEM’s in attendance were given a tour of the new P.S.I. facility and learned firsthand about the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by P.S.I. and P.S.I.’s production capabilities. Tour stops demonstrated the simple design of the product, the ease of which it can be retrofitted and manufacturing processes that ensure the quality and delivery promises that customers can expect. 
 
The new P.S.I. corporate office and manufacturing facility in San Antonio is double the size of their previous location allowing the company to increase production capacity for their automatic tire inflation system for trailers as well as the planned new product introductions that were discussed with attendees during the event.
