KIA: 2005 and later Sportage

SUBJECT: A service campaign has been launched to address known corrosion issues. Though voluntary, a notice is being mailed to vehicle owners in 21 states that use road salt. In some areas of the vehicle, the sealer should be sprayed inside frame members, then the holes should be sealed. The bulletin includes part numbers for sealers and the wax injection gun, color photos and instructions on where to search for corrosion and how to apply the wax, spray sealer or sealing patches.

Bulletin SC084

NISSAN: 2002 Pathfinder (R50)

SUBJECT: A recall has been launched to replace the front passenger airbag. Nissan has discovered that 46 vehicles were fitted with an out-of-spec airbag inflator. Testing has revealed that during deployment, the metal airbag inflator might rupture and send metal particles flying through the cabin. The bulletin includes photos, part numbers and complete R&R instructions, but not a list of affected VINs. Nissan will determine if a vehicle is covered under this recall and will replace the airbag module on covered vehicles at no charge to the customer.
