SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Mitchell International has entered into a marketing and sales partnership with Harley-Davidson, Inc. where the motorcycle manufacturer will market and sell Mitchell’s UltraMate Motorcycle estimating solution directly to its dealers and includes extensive Harley-Davidson model coverage as well as a comprehensive list of Harley-Davidson upgrade accessories.

Mitchell says that UltraMate Motorcycle eliminates the time spent manually entering repair estimate data and makes importing estimates into shop management systems easier. Having access to accurate parts and labor information allows users to create work orders faster and easier, and users of the software report a reduction in per estimate time from an average 2-3 hours to less than 30 minutes, with a typical user reporting an average estimate time of 15 minutes. This equates to an average of 15-25 hours saved per month.

“I have grown dependent on UltraMate Motorcycle. It is a great tool for creating parts and accessories estimates in conjunction with the sales process of new bikes,” says Robert Carey, Parts and Service Manager, Harley-Davidson of Danbury, an early adopter of the new Harley-Davidson/UltraMate Motorcycle estimating solution. “The product is a real time saver and has helped us gain credibility with most of the major insurance companies.”

“With UltraMate Motorcycle, all participants in the claims settlement process benefit from faster estimating and repairs,” says Mitchell International President Alex Sun. “Shops profit from reduced cycle times, repair customers are happier to be back on the road faster, and insurers are satisfied with an estimating solution that offers more repair options and fewer costly total loss designations.”
