Mike Elliott, safety and maintenance director, M-S Logistics, presented the company's Partner of the Year award to Marangoni Tread North America.
The award was accepted by Bill Sweatman, president, Marangoni Tread N.A., at the headquarters of MS Logistics in Nashville, Tenn.
MS Logistics is an asset based truckload carrier headquartered in Nashville. With 85 tractors and 250 trailers, MS Logistics provides general commodity and dedicated truckload services. The service areas include the Midwest, Southeast, and Upper and Lower Ohio Valley.
MS Logistics is a subsidiary of Mid-South Wire an industry leading manufacturer of carbon steel wire with locations in the heart of Nashville (headquarters) and Scott City, Mo.
“The Marangoni Ringtread system has made a positive impact on our Safety and Maintenance program by not only providing us with a safe and reliable retread alternative but, it has also decreased our tire and downtime expense substantially as well,” said Elliott.
