TMD announces dates for 2014 quarterly brake training classes

March 10, 2014
The one day class is free to all who attend. Lunch and training materials are also included. The remaining dates for 2014 are: May 14, August 13 and November 12.

TMD Friction, manufacturer of OEM and premium aftermarket brands Textar and Don, announced their training class dates for 2014.

Fabio Jurchaks -Sales & Engineering Director, NAFTA – commented: “The classes are in high demand and we have received great feedback from attendees.  Not only do we cover foundation drum & disc brake theory and function, we also cover friction materials:  processing, evaluation, testing and certification of brake linings and pads.  Fleet spec’ing is also covered, so fleets have a better idea of what should and should not be installed on a wheel end during a brake reline. Many in the class had no idea that so much was involved to bring a premium brake lining to the heavy truck market.”

The one day class is free to all who attend.  Lunch and training materials are also included. The remaining dates for 2014 are:May 14, August 13 and November 12.
