The CanDo HD Code Pro is a full DPF service tool. Most DPF regens will require a tool to read and clear the code prior to performing a DPF regen as well as an ash level reset and/or an ECU reset to fully perform the DPF regen and get the truck back on the road. The HD Code Pro performs all of these.

Origin
We started with an entry-level commercial vehicle code reader—the HD Code II—and later found out that there is a much-needed space between it and our OR-level scan tools. The tool did not need higher level capabilities but needed to be able to diagnose not only the engine but brakes and transmission as well, along with performing DEF, SCR, and ash level resets, in order to offer a full DPF service.
