April 4, 2016
When used with a low-rpm 1/2" air drill, the Lug Ripper removes seized or frozen lug nuts off of the rim of a vehicle.

The Lock Technology Lug Ripper offers users a fast and easy way to remove seized, rusted, frozen and stripped lug nuts without damaging the rim. Precision-machined guides protect wheel rims while a carbide steel cutting bit mills away lug nuts from the inside. Utilizing a low-speed drill, the Lug Ripper only takes minutes to cut away the threads and remove the lug nut. The Lug Ripper comes with three sizes of protective guides including 17mm, 19mm, 21mm and 23mm to fit the most common domestic and import vehicles and trailers. The kit includes a collar clamp and rubber spacing wedge for deep recessed lugs.

Application

  • The guides are for for 17mm, 19mm, 21mm and 23mm lug nuts, and they are adjustable for lug nuts of varying size.

  • There is also 4mm groove cut out of the top and bottom of the guides that starts at the lug nut side. This groove is to allow lubrication to be added to the top and metal shavings to fall out the bottom during the cutting process.

  • The Lug Ripper comes with a six-month limited warranty.
