Application
The KNIPEX CutiX Universal Snap Knife can be used in just about any cutting application where a utility knife can be used, including box cutting, plastic band cutting, and more.
Origin
One of the KNIPEX engineers in Germany noticed when using competitor snap knifes the thin blade easily bent when extended. He thought there had to be a better design to keep the blade from bending and provide more stability. That’s when he came up with the idea to add a stabilization bar and the idea grew from there.
