- I used the Drain Plug Pro last time i changed the oil in my car. I am normal guy and changing my oil is about the only true maintenance i can do on a modern car. The Drain Plug Pro make that job easier. The magnet holds the drain plug securely but does not have too much pull so the plug is still easily removed from the drain pan. I find it helpful to get the plug started with a ratchet and then use this tool to finish it off. As the last threads let go, the oil starts to drain and the drain plug remains attached to the Drain Plug Pro. A great addition for anyone who changes their own oil and a must have if you do this more than once every few months.
- I usually don't buy gadgets like this, but I decided to try this tool after watching an ETCG video. In the past, I've pressed the drain plug against the threads to keep the oil from leaking while removing the drain plug. However, the drain plug on my current car is in a relatively tight spot, and I've either dropped the drain plug into the pan and/or make a mess on the splashshield. I tried this tool several days ago, and it works as it should: the oil went into the pan, and the drain plug stuck to the tool. It wasn't a mind-blowing, life-altering, cathartic moment that leads to nirvana or anything.

- It may be useful for removing fastners in tight spots.

- This is one of those cool little things you wish you could have invented yourself. It works like a champ and no more burnt hands!!!
