Hino Trucks announces transmission warranty

Hino Trucks equipped with 2020 model year Allison transmissions will include a five-year/unlimited-mile transmission warranty.

Hino Trucks is increasing ownership value with a new move in warranty. Effective immediately, 2020 model year Allison transmission equipped Hino’s include a 5-year unlimited mile transmission warranty. This new standard gives customers up to two additional years of coverage and does away with mileage limits at no additional cost to customers. All Allison transmissions offered by Hino Trucks are included as well as all vocation applications. This transmission warranty extends to Class 6-8 and includes Hino models 238, 258, 268, 338 and the all-new Hino XL Series.

Considering Hino Trucks standard 5-year engine warranty, emissions warranty, connected vehicle services - Hino Insight Remote Diagnostics and Case Management, and newly introduced Allison Transmission warranty, the company is delivering excellently supported trucks with maximum return on investment through residual value. “We continuously strive to deliver the lowest cost of ownership for our customers, period,” said Hino Trucks’ Sr. Vice President of Customer Experience, Glenn Ellis, who continued, “With the durability and reliability of our proprietary engines and mated Allison Transmissions it has made it possible to extend to five years of coverage at no charge to our customers.”
