The Buyers Products SaltDogg SHPE2500 salt spreader series includes both the auger-driven SHPE2500 and chain-driven SHPE2500CH models. The SHPE2500 features a redesigned double-walled hopper, which improves functionality and aesthetics. The SHPE2500CH is suitable for full-size pickup trucks and complements existing SaltDogg SCH series of stainless steel electric and gas drag chain spreaders. The SHPE2500 series offers a removable and adjustable side-swing chute for easy maintenance; a 14” poly spinner powered by a 0.5hp gear motor; and a 0.75hp chain or auger drive system. An adjustable, stainless steel spinner shield maximizes spread pattern flexibility while a fitted tarp with integrated stretch cords assist installation. The series offers a 120A PWM DC motor controller and an adjustable, inverted vee that ensures free movement of auger/chain drive.
