The system is driven by the ezytire application from E-Solution Professionals (ESP).
“Our biggest challenge when developing our new website was keeping inventory and pricing up to date,” says Joe Flynn III, Flynn’s president, noting that “ezytire is simple to set up and shows all our available inventory and pricing right on our website.”
The program “is used by individual tire stores through to large retail chains with multiple locations,” explains Rob Rupert, president of ESP’s North American division.
“We intentionally developed ezytire to be simple to set up and maintain,” he continues, adding that it “can be used as a standalone website or integrated into an existing website.”
Founded in 2001, ESP focuses exclusively on the tire industry, according to Rupert, with applications such as Tireweb, Tirelibrary, ezytire, Wheelweb and Tirewire. “More than 20 million tires pass through Tireweb every year, making it the most widely used B2B e-commerce application for tires,” he says.
Flynn’s, which is still family owned and operated, grew from a single location in Mercer County, Pa. to multiple locations throughout the Keystone State, Ohio and New York. It has four warehouses to cover distribution to other tire retailers, service stations, car dealers and farm/tractor suppliers in addition to the company’s own locations.
Goodyear, Dunlop, Kelly, Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, General, Continental, Yokohama, Vogue, Toyo and Pirelli are among the manufacturers represented. The company also has a truck tire retreading division.
“The Flynn family members all participate in the organization at different levels,” Flynn reports. “However, Flynn’s Tire considers all of its associates a part of an extended family and views them as valued members of the team. In fact, we believe we have the most knowledgeable, service- oriented staff anywhere in the tire business.”
