The MOOG® steering and suspension product line from Federal-Mogul is growing again, with several new control arms and dozens of other premium quality components covering nearly 10 million late- model foreign-nameplate and domestic vehicles.

Included in the new part numbers are several “first to market” components that enable service providers to address a variety of emerging repair needs.

Among the latest MOOG components are right and left upper control arms with premium integral ball joints for nearly 1.4 million 2002-2005 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer and 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator models. Unlike other control arms offered for these applications, the new parts (#K620224 and K620225) feature premium MOOG ball joints engineered to deliver exceptional performance and durability.

The MOOG team also has introduced a rear lower control arm (#K640259) for nearly 2.6 million 2003-2006 Honda Accord and 2004-2008 Acura TSX models; rear upper center and upper front control arms for a broad range of late-model BMW applications; a rear upper control arm for 1989-1998 Suzuki Sidekick and X90 models; and right and left front lower control arms for late-model Scion XA and XB models.

Other new MOOG parts include a first-to-market rear sway bar link kit for Audi A4 sedans and wagons, and A5, S5 and Q5 models; front sway bar link kit for more than 500,000 Ford F150 4WD and F Series Super Duty 2WD and 4WD trucks; lower ball joint for more than 625,000 Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger, and Dodge Journey Models; and a broad array of alignment shims and bushings for several late-model foreign nameplate and domestic applications.

“We have invested significant resources in extending our coverage leadership in the control arm category,” said Mark Boyle, director, steering and suspension products, Federal-Mogul. “In each case, the MOOG brand offers an advanced design with premium components and materials engineered to deliver best-in-class performance and service life.”
