Matco Tools announced it will be running its second annual Tools for the Cause campaign after a successful first year.

Tools for the Cause is a year-long program where Matco offers special edition pink products and donates 15% of the sales to Susan G. Komen. The company surpassed its $100,000 fundraising goal for 2012, and to date the tool company has donated more than $250,000 to help find a cure.

“After the overwhelmingly positive response to last year’s campaign and the demand for more products, we are looking forward to kicking off the second year and introducing additional special edition tools,” saysTim Gilmore, president of Matco Tools. “Breast cancer is a topic that hits home for many of our franchisees and employees, and we welcome the opportunity to raise awareness and funds that help support finding a cure.”

The second annual Tools for the Cause campaign will start on Oct. 1, 2013, and run through September 2014. During that time, Matco will sell its special edition pink products through its distributors and online. Antron Brown, Matco’s top fuel pilot, and his crew also will show support by unveiling a newly designed pink Matco race car and fire suit during the October races.
