Standard Motor Articles Inc. (SMP) announces the addition of 185 new part numbers to its Intermotor Import line. The release expands coverage through the 2016 model year covering more than 135 million additional vehicles in operation (VIO).
The company reports it made key additions throughout the import brand’s engine management line, most notably its switch category. SMP introduced 65 switch SKUs, including instrument panel dimmer, combination, and windshield wiper switches, to increase coverage by 30 million VIO. Intermotor’s sensor category also received a boost with the addition of ABS speed, crankshaft, accelerator pedal, and other sensors. More highlights from the release include 35 door lock actuators and 15 fuel vapor canisters.
