The ATEQ Quickset tool can be used to swap summer and winter tires on Asian vehicles without the need of a scan tool, it is sold and supported in the Americas region only. The Quickset can store up to four vehicle’s in it’s database, making it an ideal tool for shops who only service tires a few times per year.
For this video demonstration, ATEQ will swap tires on a 2007 Hyundai Azera.
First, make sure to gather the TPMS sensor ID information for the sensors in the wheels that are not currently registered with the vehicle. Use a TPMS activation or trigger tool that displays the sensor ID’s on the screen, such as a VT31 or VT36. Users can read the TPMS sensor ID’s, then be sure to write them down.
Next, make sure the ATQuickset software is installed on the PC.
