OTC has released three suspension bushing tools to its product line in North America. The tools allow hands-free operation for technicians when removing and replacing leaf spring bushings and suspension bushings found on Freightliner Cascadia vehicles.

The suspension bushing tools are available now, and include:

4255 Hendrickson Airtek NXT Bushing Adapter Kit

The adapter kit is used in conjunction with the 4263 Suspension Bushing Tool to remove and replace the leaf spring bushings. The adapters and cups allow bushings to be pressed out and new bushings to be pressed in. The adapters aid users to ensure a straight, clean installation of vital suspension bushings, making bearing removal and installation faster and easier than other methods, the company says. The adapters are specifically designed to fit the front leaf spring and bushing, while all parts are specially designed to fit the Airtek NXT front suspensions found on Freightliner Cascadia vehicles.

4261 Hendrickson Front Suspension Bushing Tool

The suspension bushing tool kit helps remove and replace leaf spring bushings, with a capacity of 15 tons. The hydraulic cylinder and press plate assembly mounts to the leaf spring for hands free operation, without the need to hold heavy equipment. The press plates and bushing adapters are specially designed to fit the front leaf spring and bushing, while all parts are specially designed to fit the Airtek NXT front suspensions found on Freightliner Cascadia vehicles.

 4263 Suspension Bushing Tool

The suspension bushing tool is used to remove and replace suspension bushings, with a capacity up to 15 tons. The hydraulic cylinder and press plate assembly mounts to the suspension component or the leaf spring comfortably to eliminate the hassle of holding multiple parts of heavy equipment. The tool is used in conjunction with the bushing adapter sets designed to fit specific bushings and suspension components.
