Milwaukee Tool introduced a new category of Milwaukee gear: the M12 Heated AXIS Layering System. This system offers users the versatility to pair their M12 Heated Axis Jacket with either a HydroBreak Rain Shell or GridIron Work Shell. Along with this new layering system, Milwaukee’s new season of heated gear includes an olive-green color expansion to the M12 Heated Axis Jacket, a gray M12 Heated ToughShell Jacket, and a redesign of the M12 Women’s Heated SoftShell Jacket.

M12 Heated Axis Layering System

To combat extreme weather conditions, Milwaukee introduces the M12 Heated AXIS Layering System. The new layering system incorporates versatility into the heated gear line and is designed to withstand the heaviest rain and snow conditions. Using the M12 Heated Asix Jacket as the primary source of heat, users can complete the system by adding an outer shell – either the HydroBreak Rain Shell or GridIron Work Shell. The HydroBreak Rain Shell provides 100 percent waterproof jobsite protection. With ripstop polyester for tear and abrasion resistance, polyurethane laminate providing 10K mm waterproofness, and an inner printed pattern for comfort and breathability, the Hydrobreak Rain Shell is jobsite durable and built for rain. Velcro enclosures on the front zipper, pockets, and cuffs provide additional protection from rain, while a drop-tail extended back and standing collar with an adjustable hood ensure users all-day protection from the elements.

Additionally, users can combine the GridIron Work Shell with the M12 Heated Axis Jacket to survive extreme cold on the jobsite. With three times the durability and 25 percent less bulk, the company says, the GridIron Work Shell offers 60G insulation throughout the body and 40G insulation throughout the sleeves. When pairing the Axis with the shell, all components of the M12 Heated Axis Layering System are optimized with pass-thru access to heat controls on both shells, offering three times faster heat with three heat settings, according to the company. The Hydrobreak Rain Shell can also be worn as a standalone shell apart from the M12 Heated Axis Layering System.

M12 Heated Axis Jackets

The M12 Heated Axis Jacket design, first introduced last year, expands with a new olive-green color alongside the black offering. The compressible design and weather-resistant ripstop polyester material allow these jackets to be worn as a mid-layer or outer layer. M12 Heat On Demand delivers three times faster heat and allows users to reach optimal heat with the quick heat function. Axis Ripstop Polyester protects against abrasion and tears on and off the jobsite while polyester insulation keeps heat in without adding bulk.

M12 Heated ToughShell Jackets

The M12 Heated ToughShell Jacket is now available in gray, in addition to the black, Realtree edge camouflage, and red color offerings. The M12 Heated ToughShell Jacket is built to survive the elements with ToughShell stretch polyester that provides five times longer life. This durable outer layer is wind- and water-resistant and will hold up to the harsh jobsite conditions users face every day. Like the Axis, this jacket features M12 Heat on Demand and three adjustable heat settings.

M12 Women’s Heated SoftShell Jacket

Milwaukee has also expanded their women’s offering with a redesigned version of the M12 Women's Heated SoftShell Jacket. Resized for a better fit, the M12 Women's Heated SoftShell Jacket uses carbon fiber heating elements to create and distribute heat to the back, collar, and front pockets. Featuring a quilted softshell design and high-loft insulation, the jacket provides wind- and water-resistance while trapping in heat to provide extended warmth and comfort in cold conditions.

Milwaukee‘s M12 Heated Gear provides the versatility, durability, utility, and comfort for use in cold conditions and all outdoor environments, the company says. M12 red lithium batteries are compatible with more than 90 cordless solutions on the M12 system.
