    The SOLAR Amp Clamp Accessory, No. BAA8, from Clore Automotive, can be connected to the BA427 Digital Battery and System Tester to take amperage readings throughout the vehicle electrical system. It features a 29mm opening, allowing it to clamp over large gauge cables, such as battery cables. The Amp Clamp is CAT-III/600V certified and connects to the Clore BA427 via a standard port on the front of the unit. It can also be used to interface with other electronic equipment, including most DMMs and scopes.
