GM service bulletin features Link New Tech's Qwik Draw and Power Extreme lines

Dec. 10, 2013
GM bulletin recommends new service change intervals and techniques to power brake, power steering and coolant systems.

A recent service bulletin from General Motors to service managers at Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, and GMC truck dealerships prominently featured the use of power flushing equipment from Link New Tech’s Qwik Draw and Power Extreme lines, according to Link New Tech.

The General Motors Bulletin (04-06-01-029G) was created to recommend new service change intervals and techniques for power brake, power steering and coolant systems. The bulletin does not specifically endorse an equipment type or brand; however, it only uses Qwik Draw and Power Extreme models to demonstrate the proper method in which to perform this type of service. The equipment employed was Speed Draw QD2 for coolant, Brake & Bleeder QD8, and Power Steering Flush Machine QD1.

According to company President Adam Awad, “we are not surprised to be the equipment of choice in GM’s service bulletin. Many GM franchise dealerships have selected to equip their facilities with Qwik Draw and Power Extreme. We believe our line of technically advanced flush and replace equipment provides superior performance and reliability. From GM’s inclusion, it is obvious that their service managers feel the same way.”

Qwik Draw and Power Extreme equipment is in use at dealership service facilities from nearly all makes as well as thousands of service chains and independent shops. Service technicians praise the ease of use, time and fluid efficiency, as well as the environmentally conscience operation of the equipment line, according to Link New Tech.

Link New Tech holds patents for its line of Qwik Draw and Power Extreme transmission, coolant, power steering, brake, and differential fluid flush and exchange equipment. Each is designed to maximize margins by reducing service times, helps to eliminate spillage, and minimize waste. Each piece of equipment operates at maximum efficiency. This is also the most environmentally responsible flush and exchange line available.
