Right Angle OBDII Extension Cables

July 2, 2015

The Steelman Pro Right Angle OBDII Extension Cables allow scan tool cables to be routed away from the floor board of a vehicle, providing a safer alternative for using scan tool during road testing, according to the company. By exiting the OBD-II plug coupler at a right angle, the wire does not interfere with the feet of the driver and is routed up and over the steering column to the attached OBD-II scan tool. The cable is constructed of heavy-gauge, shielded copper wires that offer a reliable connection to the scan tool and help prevent interference from nearby electronics. Additionally, the extension cables can be used to provide a permanent connection to the scan tool cable, thereby reducing the chance of premature wear and tear from repeated connections to the OBD-II interface port. The Right Angle OBDII Extension Cables come in 1' (No. 78758) and 5' (No. 78759) lengths and as a set of two in 1' and 5' lengths (No. 78757).
