Tech 2

The GM Tech 2 scan tool has a large, easy-to-read, back-lit screen that displays both test and graphics, and it is capable of showing nine sensors at once. The Tech 2 is reprogrammable, and RS232 communications port provides an avenue to connect future devices. Snapshot graphing shows any failures or glitches at a glance. The GM software in the tool supports onboard diagnostics for all GM systems 1992 through 2013 and provides full bidirectional control when performing powertrain, chassis, and body diagnostics. Users can store DTC, freeze frame, and failure record for later review as well as watch the status of vehicle diagnostic tests as they run.
