MBX surface preparation system

The MONTI Tools MBX surface preparation system is suitable for applications in hard-to-reach areas, including contours and edges on mechanical and bodywork materials. It removes undercoating, rust, paint, seals and gaskets as well as grey cast iron. The MBX can clean weld seams, gasket mating surfaces and threads without damaging the metal surfaces. To set up, users select the appropriate flexible belt and insert it into the adapter hub assembly and connect the adapter hub to the tuned drive unit. According to the company, the MBX produces little to no heat when applied. The MBX is offered as pneumatic and electric options, and MBX belts are offered in different grades of fine, medium and coarse and in different materials of carbon steel and stainless steel.
