The 2011 Virtual Aftermarket eForum incorporates online features that lead to a virtual industry-wide dialog about important e-business and technology issues.
The Aftermarket eForum, scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 2, is produced by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and features five respected keynote presenters, a virtual trade show, an attendee networking lounge and an electronic resource center of digital assets and information. The eForum is produced with technology from ON24, a leader in Webcasts and virtual events.
“This is so much more than a simple Webinar,” said Scott Luckett, vice president, technology standards, AAIA. “We are able to provide expert, thought-provoking presentations, a wealth of online resources, a relaxed discussion and networking environment, as well as a virtual trade show of the leading aftermarket solutions and technologies – all without the time and cost associated with business travel.”
The doors open for the live day of the eForum at 9:30 a.m. EST on Feb. 2 and the event closes at 6:30 p.m. EST. Attendees score points toward valuable door prizes by attending presentations, visiting vendor booths and participating in chats and other features of the event. The familiar conference center environment features doors clearly labeled with the different venues. And, scrolling marquee messages remind attendees of scheduled events.
“To extend the value even further, all of the content and resources of the eForum are available to registered attendees on-demand 24/7 for 90 days after the live day,” said Luckett. “We want to make the content and information from eForum available to everyone, everywhere, regardless of ability to travel or time constraints.”
Attendees of the Virtual Aftermarket eForum qualify for 0.5 CEU credits toward their AAP or MAAP designation from the University of the Aftermarket. Registration is available online for $95 after early-bird and member discounts. For the full agenda and description of all that the event has to offer, visit www.aftermarket.org/eforum.
