With a late race pass, Jimmie Johnson lead the final four laps to get his Bosch-equipped No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet to victory lane at the Nov. 8 NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series™ race in Texas.
The Hendrick Marrow Program’s mission is to raise money to help cover uninsured costs of transplants through the Hendrick Family Fund for patient assistance, while growing the Be The Match® Registry of volunteer donors. Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports, established the Hendrick Marrow Program of the Be The Match® Foundation, operated by the National Marrow Donor Program, after being diagnosed with leukemia in 1997.
“Congratulations to Jimmie Johnson and the entire No.48 Hendrick Motorsports team for Sunday’s victory in Texas,” said Tony Pauly, director of advertising and brand management for Bosch Automotive Aftermarket North America. “It was great to see the six-time champ back in victory lane.”
