A look into ProDemand

March 17, 2015
Ben Johnson, Director of Product Management with Mitchell 1, recently talked with our Larry Silvey about ProDemand.

Have you used Mitchell 1's ProDemand in the past? Maybe you're looking for information on why it would be a good fit for your shop. Ben Johnson, Director of Product Management with Mitchell 1, recently talked with our Larry Silvey about ProDemand. Johnson highlighted some real-world examples of how the ProDemand system can help techs in today’s bays. The pair look at a couple of scenarios, starting with irritating Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) that keep returning, to a more open-ended problem a customer might give you (i.e., “the engine stalls when I try to accelerate.”). You’ll be able to see how ProDemand functions when looking up information for your own troublesome vehicles.

There are benefits for the diagnostician as well as the average user. In the conversation, Johnson talks about the ProDemand “must-know” items users should be taking advantage of, such as the Top 10 Repairs list and ProView. He also adds that the Quick-Access toolbar and content within is a great asset for users who just need to look up something like a fluid capacity.

Keep an eye open at the end, as well, for information on how to use ProDemand on an iPad and other tablets, a tool more and more technicians are utilizing in today’s repair shops.
