NCMA recognizes best examples of automotive cataloging

Awards were presented recognizing the best examples of paper catalog, web catalog and mobile catalog applications at the recent conference of the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) Knowledge Exchange in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Awards were presented recognizing the best examples of paper catalog, web catalog and mobile catalog applications at the recent conference of the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA) Knowledge Exchange in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Volunteer judges evaluated more than 50 submissions against established criteria. The gold level winners of the 2014 NCMA President’s Award for Catalog Excellence were:

•  Gates Corporation for their Medium & Heavy Duty Truck Water Pump paper catalog;

•  Dayco Products for their Dayco Web Catalog; and

•  K&N Engineering for their K&N Mobile Catalog App.

The NCMA Knowledge Exchange offers the leading data receivers the opportunity to recognize a single supplier as the best example of electronic management and distribution practices in electronic catalog and product information. The 2014 best-in-class winners of the NCMA President’s Award for Electronic Data Excellence were:

•  Perfection Hy-Test, presented by Advance Auto Parts;

•  Wells Vehicle Electronics, presented by AutoZone;

•  Spectra Premium, presented by CARQUEST;

•  CRP Automotive, presented by Epicor;

•  NAPA Chassis, Affinia, presented by NAPA;

•  Continental VDO, presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts;

•  Magnaflow Performance Exhaust, presented by US Auto Parts; and

•  Brembo North America, presented by WHI Solutions.
