Transtar announces management changes

Transtar Autobody Technologies has named Jeremy VanAlstyne as Vice President of Sales and Mike Westrick as VIce President and General Manager.
Transtar Autobody Technologies has named Jeremy VanAlstyne as Vice President of Sales and Mike Westrick as VIce President and General Manager.

Effective as of early July, both VanAlstyne and Westrick wil report directly to Brett Penzkofer, Chief Financial Officer and President for Transtar Autobody Technologies.

VanAlstyne will have responsibility for U.S. Domestic, Canada, and International sales.

VanAlstyne was most recently Director of Business Development for Frost and Sullivan’s aerospace and defense division where he managed a sales force of over 30 representatives and achieved 20 percent annual growth. He attended the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and was a four‐time letter winner in football.

VanAlstyne, his wife, Heather, and their daughter, Kate, reside in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Westrick has overall responsibility for Manufacturing,Marketing, Technical/Customer Service, Finance, Information Technology, Research and Development, National Accounts, and
Purchasing.

For the past three years, Westrick has been Vice President of Operations at Transtar Autobody Technologies. Under his leadership, Transtar Autobody Technologies has reduced manufacturing
and product costs while improving first time quality. Prior to his tenure with Transtar, Westrick worked at Henkel Corporation/Acheson Colloids, where he was Senior Technology Manager/Global
Business Coordinator.

Westrick has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Michigan State University. He, his wife, Jamey, and their children reside in Marine City, Mich.
