PHINIA Showcases Advanced Fuel Systems Technologies at IAA Transportation 2026
PHINIA has begun showcasing its latest technologies to support lower-carbon commercial vehicle transportation at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover, Germany, taking place Sept. 15-20, 2026.
According to a press release, approximately 85% of PHINIA's annual research and development investment is focused on improving fuel efficiency, reducing emissions, and advancing alternative fuel technologies. At IAA Transportation 2026, the company is also highlighting its broad portfolio of advanced fuel system technologies that help manufacturers meet evolving emissions legislation while delivering the performance, reliability, and efficiency that operators expect. The displays aim to show PHINIA's ability to develop and integrate fuel systems technologies across medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicle applications, supporting fuels including diesel, hydrotreated vegetable oil and biodiesel, hydrogen, natural gas, and other lower-carbon alternatives such as ethanol and methanol.
"While the mobility industry is evolving rapidly, our commitment remains the same: to deliver the technologies our customers need today while continuing to invest in the solutions they will need tomorrow," said Todd Anderson, vice president and chief technology officer at PHINIA. "We're continuing to invest across advanced diesel, gaseous fuel technologies and alternative liquid fuels because there is no single pathway to lower-carbon mobility. We combine complete system solutions with deep engineering expertise to give customers the flexibility to meet changing regulatory and market demands with confidence."
