Kathleen Schmatz Reaches Gold Lifetime Trustee Status at University of the Aftermarket Foundation

Longtime industry leader elevates support and backs 40th anniversary campaign as Premier Ruby Celebration host.

Kathleen Schmatz, MAAP, has increased her support of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF), reaching the Gold Lifetime Trustee level. Schmatz is also supporting the UAF 40th Anniversary campaign as a Premier Ruby Celebration Host and the UAF Coffee Club as a Master Barista.

The Gold Lifetime Trustee designation is reserved for outstanding donors who have expanded their support of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and its mission.

"I work to contribute to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation for many reasons," said Schmatz. "Foremost, it's rewarding to give back to the dynamic industry that gave me so much. Secondly, contributions to UAF help assure the future of the aftermarket through education and the development of qualified technicians and other industry professionals. And, finally, because supporters of UAF are great company!"

"Cheers to Kathleen for leveling up her support of UAF to the Gold Lifetime Trustee level, as well as generously supporting the UAF Coffee Club and 40th Ruby Anniversary campaign," said Roger McCollum, MAAP, UAF chairman. "Throughout her career, Kathleen was a champion of the aftermarket, leading the industry into the future in many critical areas, including education. By personally investing in the next generation, she continues to build on that legacy, paving the way for others to pursue careers in the industry she loves."
