MAHLE has been awarded the Gold Medal by EcoVadis - a leading independent specialist for coporate sustainability ratings. MAHLE scored an 82 out of 100 points, ranking among the top 5% of all companie assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.
"This gold award is a strong signal that we are on the right track. As a conscientious foundation-owned company, we are committed to sustainable business practices—not only as a moral obligation, but also as a strategic success factor,” said Georg Dietz, member of the Management Board of the MAHLE Group.
MAHLE scored EcoVadis' highest rating in the categories of environment as well as labor and human rights. In addition last year MAHLE signed the UN Women's Empowerment Principles on gender equality in the workplace and society.
