The grand opening of Arnold Oil Company of Austin’s new 137,000 square-foot warehouse was the social event of the weekend in Austin, Texas, company officials said.
“As I reflect on that weekend, I can honestly say that it was one of the proudest moments of my 38 years in business,” said Jim Arnold, president and CEO of Arnold Oil. “I want to thank our customers who took the time to celebrate with us, as well as the Federated staff and our vendor partners who participated and helped make this such a great event. I especially want to thank our employees who have been instrumental in our success over the past 38 years.”
“Making such a major investment in this fantastic new facility represents confidence in the future and a commitment to the business for future generations,” said Larry Pavey, president of Federated Auto Parts. “It is an inspiring example of what makes our industry great. We could not be more proud of Federated’s association with Jim and the entire team at Arnold Oil and we wish them continued success.”
The following day Arnold Oil employees and customers had the opportunity to go to Cotton Bowl Speedway to meet Federated spokesman Kenny Schrader, tour the pits and drive their cars around the track. The employees then headed back to the new warehouse facility where they attended a dinner for their families that included an awards ceremony. The evening was capped off back at the track as Schrader and the Federated dirt track team raced before a packed house.
