There is still time to be a sponsor of the 2013 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) scheduled for May 21-22 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare near Chicago.

"We have sponsorship opportunities for companies with budgets of all sizes," said GAAS chairman, Denny Welvaert. "Not only do we have major sponsorships available at platinum, gold and silver levels, there other ways to support GAAS like purchasing an ad in the onsite program that each attendee receives."

A PDF file of the sponsorship brochure that outlines the various sponsorship levels is available at: www.globalsymposium.org/GAASSponsor.pdf or visit www.globalsymposium.org/sponsors.html.

Welvaert points out that the net proceeds of GAAS are used to fund scholarships for students pursuing careers in the automotive aftermarket. "Being a GAAS sponsor is a great way to invest your dollars to help support our scholarship program," he explained.

Sponsors already secured for GAAS 2013 include, Polk, the corporate sponsor, and the foundation sponsor, University of the Aftermarket Foundation. BB&T Capital Markets is a platinum sponsor. Babcox and The Greensheet are Media Partners, and The Greensheet is also a sponsor of the "Interactive Audience Feedback" and "Free Wi-Fi for Attendees" programs. Media Supporters of GAAS 2013 are Advanstar Automotive, Autosphere, Motor and Parts & People.

GAAS 2013, "Driving Change," brings together industry leaders and experts to examine the issues and trends affecting the worldwide automotive aftermarket and influencing its future. Each year the net proceeds of GAAS are invested in the organization's scholarship fund to help students get their automotive aftermarket career started. Additional scholarship funding comes from industry contributions from individuals, companies and foundations. To date GAAS, has awarded scholarships to more than 1,600 students representing $1.6 million in aid.
