Luber-finer launches mobile app updates

July 21, 2020
The application updates include Vindetech functionality, allowing users to search for filtration compatibility by VIN.

Luber-finer, a Champion Laboratories, Inc., filter brand, released updates to the Luber-finer app for smartphones and tablets that run on Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android operating systems.

The updates provide users with up-to-the-minute, real-time data on Luber-finer’s full catalog of filters for the automotive, medium duty, off-road and on-road heavy duty markets and leverage the company’s proprietary Vindetech search tool.

Now with Vindetech functionality, users can simply enter a vehicle identification number (VIN) to ensure accurate filtration alignment. Due to the potential for variation between engines in vehicles from the same manufacturer and even the same model year, it’s important to search by VIN, the company says. The feature makes the job of identifying the right filtration solution on-the-go more efficient and minimizes the time wasted searching for filtration to fit a vehicle.

For iOS users who already have the app, these new features should update automatically. Android users will need to re-download the app on the Google Play Store.
