Adam Martin, a former Marine, assistant chief of police and sales entrepreneur, has been promoted as a national sales manager.

PureForge, an innovative brake solutions company, appoints Adam Martin, a former Marine, assistant chief of police and sales entrepreneur, as national sales manager. He will help PureForge meet the overwhelming demand from law-enforcement fleets following the October 2012 introduction of the world's first wear-resistant automobile brake rotor engineered to outlast the service life of fleet vehicles.

"PureForge is thrilled to welcome Adam Martin as our new national sales manager," says Douglas F. Wall, PureForge's CEO. "His law-enforcement and sales experience will be invaluable to our current and future customers during this period of rapid expansion and high demand for the unprecedented safety, high performance and value of PureForge brakes."

Martin comes to PureForge after serving as assistant chief of police for the Sturgis Police Department in South Dakota. Martin served nearly eight years with the department, where he oversaw the patrol division, fleet management, procurement and equipment processes and the training division. In 2006 he was recognized as one of the top law enforcement professionals by the South Dakota Department of Highway Safety. In addition, he has proven himself a savvy entrepreneur and sales executive during six years of owning and operating indirect dealerships for CellularONE, Pegasus, DirecTV, and Dish Network. Martin began his career in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a graduate of the Marine Corps Communications and Electronics School. He currently sits on the board of the Northern Hills Federal Credit Union and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, riding his Harley, hunting, golfing and being outdoors.
