He oversees two technicians at Euro Auto, which specializes is Audi and Volkswagen.

1. ATS Borescope

"The picture is worth a 1,000 words," Dibner says, calling this tool a must-have for its articulating camera head and medical-grade quality.

2. Power Probe IV

Dibner calls the Power Probe IV a "definite upgrade from the Power Probe III" because it has many usable modes, plus a "screen you can see even in sunlight."

3. Autel MaxiSYS, No. MS908

Dibner says this tool provides the best bang for the buck. "First scan tool I pick up," he says. "Very fast. Very good software."

4. Gates Powerclean Flush Tool

"This piece of equipment will save many hours of time," Dibner says, applauding its use of pulsating water instead of steady flow flushing. "You will unblock the worst."

5. Mueller-Kueps Universal Press Support, No. 432 650

The number of different options this tool offers support whatever Dibner needs to press. "No more using dangerous makeshift adapters to support a hub," he explains.

6. ATS EScan Pro, No. ESN2000

According to Dibner, this PC-based generic scan tool is "the fastest way to diagnose breathing issues, efficiency and fuel trim problems."

7. Chicago Pneumatic Super Duty Air Hammer, No. CP717

"Hours saved is an hour earned," Dibner says. "It's worth every penny and you don't have to beat up your hands."

8. FLIR i3 Infrared Imaging

"Looking at heat signatures is a very fast way of diagnosing all types of conditions," Dibner says. He uses the device to diagnose parasitic drain modules that won't turn off wheel bearings, catalytic converter issues and much more.

9. ATS Bullseye Leak Protection

Dibner prefers this tool, which uses carbon dioxide instead of smoke to find leaks. "When a leak is found with a CO2 sniffer, yellow foam is sprayed around the infected area and will turn pink where the precise leak is."

10. Electronic Specialties True RMS Low Current Clamp Meter, No. 688

Dibner likes this handheld amp clamp because it is accurate and, therefor, takes way any guess-work. He also appreciates the built-in multimeter.
