    The Electronic Specialties Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer with Laser, No. EST-45, measures surface temperatures, up to 932 degrees F or 500 degrees C. The instrument features a long distance ratio of 12:1, a continuous back-lit LCD display and Data Hold. The tool offers a high 1 percent accuracy specification and sports a high resolution of 0.1 degree F or C for increased accuracy on the low range. The EST-45 uses a single point laser system for more accurate aiming. With a one-year warranty, it can be used as a diagnostic tool for testing catalytic converters, diesel engines and other high-temp automotive applications by pulling the trigger and aiming the laser at the target surface.
