    The Dana Spicer XFE 75W-90 drive axle lubricant is a synthetic gear oil designed to improve fuel economy in high-efficiency drivetrain solutions while qualifying for an initial 500,000-mile change interval. The lubricant is formulated to improve drive axle efficiency on numerous on-highway applications. The product reduces friction and spin loss, has a lower stabilization temperature and has more stable viscosity during operation. The lubricant meets requirements to SAE J2360 and Dana SHAES256 Rev C specifications, according to the company. It can be used in combination with drive axles from Dana, like the Spicer AdvanTEK 40 and Spicer Pro-40 tandem axles for 6x4 configurations as well as the Spicer EconoTrek 6x2 tandem axle.
