    The Electronic Specialties Diagnostic Relay Buddy 12/24, No. 192, tests relays from 12V automotive vehicles, 24V electrical systems in heavy duty vehicles and 24V battery-powered equipment. A good test result is displayed as a green light, but if the relay fails, one of three programmed diagnostic codes will flash the red LED. A brief description of the failure and the probable cause is printed on the back side of the unit. This tool checks the control side of the relay while it checks for proper functioning of the relay contacts. The product, which has a one-year warranty, uses the vehicle’s battery for its power source and works with most common 4/5 Pin 12V and 24V relays.
