Portable 12V Cooler

The Michelin 12V Cooler features solid state cooling and warming technology in an extremely lightweight and easy-to-carry cooler with built-in handles and a shoulder strap. Specifically developed for consumer use by Koolatron, the technology found in the Michelin 12 Volt Cooler builds on NASA’s pursuit of a space cooling system that does not require the bulky coils, compressors and motors of conventional refrigerators. The Michelin 12V Cooler plugs directly into any vehicle’s 12V plug and delivers the cooling power of a 10 lb block of ice through a thermoelectric module the size of a matchbook, says the company. With the flip of a plug, the Michelin 12V Cooler can actually convert into a warmer.
