King Pin Press, No. KPP143

July 18, 2013

ARI-Hetra's King Pin Press, No. KPP143, helps diesel mechanics change king pins by improving safety and time efficiency. Its emphasis on safety begins with the mechanic by allowing him to work at a safe distance and by reducing physical overexertion often associated with removing king pins using a hammer and punch or cumbersome manual presses. This eliminates the potential of accidental spindle or axle damage. It features an air assisted piston that moves the press into place and a responsive hand pump that uses 143,000 lbs of compression force to remove the king pin.
