2 to 7-bar tire inflation restraining devices

May 2, 2013

Ken-Tool's 2 to 7-bar tire inflation restraining devices come tested and certified to address higher, 130-psi inflation pressure levels. This tire cage is the first in the industry to be certified for this use, according to the company. It can be used with 455/55R22.5 load range M truck tires. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s O.S.H.A. Standard No. 29 CFR Part 1910.177 requires that inflation restraining devices contain 150 percent of a tire's rated inflation pressure during a failure. This tire cage was successfully tested using a truck tire on a multi-piece wheel at 195-psi.
