    Standard Motor Products' TechSmart PMD Relocation Kit, No. S39001, presents a real-life solution to the problem found in many GM 6.5L diesel engines. A poor OE mounting location exposes the original pump mounted driver (PMD) module to an excessive amount of heat soak that can destroy the internal components over time. The kit allows technicians to relocate the PMD anywhere they choose in the engine bay. By selecting an optimum location for the new module, exposure to harsh engine operating temperatures can be minimized, improving the PMD performance and extending its service life.
