The new Snap-on Welder (MIG140) is a solution for those shops that have limited power supply but demand high performance when it comes to their welder. Features include: the ability to weld 1/4" material in a single pass with 140A maximum output at 60 percent duty cycle; an all-copper wound transformer featuring Nomex insulation and bolted laminations to provide precise voltage control and repeatable welds; a capacitor bank and diode set that delivers consistent voltage and industry-leading smooth-arc characteristics; and a wire feed assembly constructed of precision machined cast aluminum which features all-metal gearing.
