QS5 Vacuum Pump

The INFICON QS5 Vacuum Pump's two-stage rotary vane pump provides the ability to quickly pull a deep, 15 micron vacuum. An anti-backflow on the inlet prevents oil from flowing back to the system if there's a power disruption, and a gas ballast allows pumped water vapor to be exhausted to atmosphere instead of accumulating in the oil reservoir. An internal oil pumping design lubricates the pump chamber and bearings. The oil drain and inlets include tethered caps so users can't drop or lose them. Fan directs airflow for maximum heat transfer, keeping pump cooler. Aluminum housing provides maximum durability and a thermally protected motor ensures safe operation.
