Clark Heintz Tools & Equipment of Bow, N.H. (nhprotools.com), has been using the myMoney Suite for more than a year. Heintz is a former mobile distributor with more than 30 years experience and currently runs the tool store and warehouse plus a distributor truck. Heintz said the myMoney software is especially key in tracking revolving accounts and inventory.
He said with some business programs the invoices are very limited to sell/pay relationships; there will be multiple invoices for any customer who buys more than one item. The myMoney automatically adds new purchases to an account and subtracts payments from the whole account as opposed to one invoice/item.He said the software is also beneficial in tracking tools and part numbers from mulitple distributors and manufacturers.
"Inventory is a real challenge, and it's not with My Money," he said. "You can easily type things on the run; you can add your own product," like used and trade-in tools. "There's a lot of flexibility with the inventory and ... the whole product phase."
Heintz liked that the company is receptive to customer suggestions for changes and updates.
"There's a lot more support available to you, and you can make suggestions and they'll act on them fairly fast," Heintz said. "If they can't do anything about it, there's usually a good reason why. If they can, they will."
