    Viking Plastics' tethered HVAC charge port cap reduces assembly costs, improves fuel economy and loweres costs for service repair centers. The cap is used in automotive air conditioning systems and allows OEMs to meet the SAI J639 specification requiring tethered caps. The patent-pending integrated shipping cap and tethered charge port cap assembly will fit onto a wide range of valve sizes, with the most popular being M8x1.0, M9x1.0, M10x0.75, M10x1.25 SAE and JRA style valves.
