TransportPLUS! is a complete trucking company software. It integrates all aspects of load setup, trip dispatch, and trip settlement with commercial accounting packages written for small business. Load setup allows entering of shipper, consignee, and customer from a business database. Each load can have multiple pickups and drops. A point-to-point table is maintained for billing distances. These distances can be obtained from popular trucking mileage databases. Trip dispatch consists of assignment of tractor, trailer, and driver to the load. A rate of pay is determined for the driver or contractor. Visual dispatch allows for simple matching of loads to tractors. The messaging center can track loads with the use of dispatch calls. Trip settlement calculates the complicated settlements with drivers or contractors as well as creating invoices for the customer. These payables,receivables, and payroll documents are created in the appropriate accounting modules to which TransportPLUS! is tightly integrated.
