The Optronics Combo Lamp, No. STL68, offers two lamps for the price of one. The 9" oval combination LED stop, tail, turn and backup lamp easily mounts to the surface of a vehicle. Mounting the STL68 requires only a 1/2" egress hole for wiring and four small mounting holes for rivet or screw fasteners. The low-profile lamp fits snugly to the surface of the vehicle for a clean, finished look. Lenses and housings are made of tough polycarbonate material that is sonically welded. The lamps employ a solid-state, surface-mount device design that protects electronics against moisture, shock and vibration, and each comes with one-diode lifetime warranty protection that will replace the lamp if even one diode fails. The new STL68 nine-inch oval Combo Lamp meets all FMVSS 108 photometric requirements for visibility and safety.
The Peterson Manufacturing 359 Series LED Cove Light features a 1" by 18" bar of Great White LEDs, which offer an output of 600 lumens per unit. The 359 Series light requires no cutting into trailer ceilings or side walls to install heat-dissipating mounting pans and conduit, thus reducing material costs and eliminating loss of R-value in insulated cargo areas. Simple no-splice harness connections avoid wiring problems while saving even more on labor costs. Designed for use in any environment from -55 degrees to higher temperatures, the 359 Series is ideal for a wide range of applications from heavy duty dry van and reefer trailers to smaller box trucks. An interior control module/timer switch is also available as an option.
The Peterson Mfg. LumenX Series 7 safety lights are powered by white-diode LEDs and are built to shine bright for visibility and safety in any weather. The lights feature high-grade plastic resins and fully-integrated insert molding for super protection. This series includes S/T/T lights, turn signals, backup lights and work lights. LumenX Series 7 models include red, amber and white in both 4” rounds in seven- and nine-diode versions, and ovals in seven- and 10-diode versions. Seven-diode Rounds and Ovals are also available with the industry-standard PL3 connection. All models can be ordered with AMP-compatible connections, integrated voltage regulation is supplied on all models, and multi-volt design is available on some models.
The Grote LED Lamp Series includes a 6” oval and 4” round Stop/Tail/Turn (S/T/T) lamps, each equipped with an LED built-in back-up lamp. Combining S/S/T and back-up functions, these lamps allow the elimination of two holes and two lamps at the rear of straight, vocational and specialized vehicles, and eliminate the need for separate back-up lamps on HD power modules. This design eliminates potential leaks in vehicles, improves structural integrity and corrosion resistance, and leaves more room for other lamps and controls, as well as lift gates, emergency flashers, and grab rails. Grote designs fit existing 6” oval and 4” round grommets and flanges.
The Steck Super Easy Wedge, No. 32923, is a larger version of the Easy Wedge to be used as an accessory with Steck's BigEasy Lockout kits. The Super Easy Wedge inserts to create a controlled opening of the vehicle door. The bigger wedge can provide more power as well as a bigger opening to be able to maneuver the BigEasy lockout tool. The Super Easy Wedge is a 7" by 9” inflatable wedge made from ballistic nylon to prevent slippage in extreme weather. The Super Easy Wedge has a contact area of 2-1/2" by 4-1/2" giving the wedge 168.75 pounds of force and it is made in the U.S.A.
The Illinois Lock Co. Truck Cap Locks, Nos. DC4060 and DC4050, are designed to match today's cap styles while adding security. The DC4060 is a center-mount handle lock with an automotive-quality finish intended for installation on a large truck cap rear window. The lock features a sliding cover to protect it from the elements and provide a prominent surface for a custom logo. The DC4060 features a reversible key with plastic overmold grip that can be molded with the cap manufacturer’s logo. The DC4050 is a smaller lock designed for truck cap side windows. It can be keyed to the same codes as the DC4060, enabling one key to open all of the cap locks.
